Aussie boxer<\/a> Skye Nicolson has officially ended her feud with Jake Paul<\/a>\u2019s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) company in signing a deal to fight on their cards.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old from Queensland – who represented Australia at the Tokyo Olympics<\/a> – is the first fighter to join MVP through a new strategic alliance with British promoter Eddie Hearn\u2019s powerful Matchroom company.<\/p>\n

She will make her MVP debut on August 30 and defend her WBC super bantamweight title against Miyo Yoshido in Birmingham, England.<\/p>\n

Nicolson (16 wins, 1 loss) joins fellow Aussie fighters Cherneka Johnson, Desley Robinson, and Ebanie Bridges in the booming MVP stable.<\/p>\n

\u201cWomen\u2019s boxing is entering a new era, and I want to be right at the centre of it,\u201d she said via an MVP statement on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis partnership with MVP and Matchroom gives me the opportunity to chase legacy, compete in the biggest fights out there, and help continue pushing women\u2019s boxing forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy goal has always been to test myself against the very best and be involved in the biggest fights in women\u2019s boxing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI truly believe this move puts me in the best possible position to do exactly that. I\u2019m excited for what\u2019s ahead and can\u2019t wait for this next chapter of my career to unfold.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicolson had previously been locked in a feud with Paul\u2019s business partner and MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In May, Bidarian told nine.com.au he was willing to break bread with the glamorous Aussie fighter<\/a> if she wanted to be part of their company.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday he reiterated his willingness to put their feud behind them.<\/p>\n

\u201cSkye is making her debut with MVP on Sky (TV in England), so we\u2019re very honoured to be able to put that on,\u201d Bidarian said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s obviously one of the biggest names in the sport. She\u2019s done a tremendous job of establishing herself as one of the faces of women\u2019s boxing.<\/p>\n

Through MVP, Paul and Bidarian have given female boxers a bigger platform and dramatically increased prize money on offer to them<\/a> in the sport.<\/p>\n

Gold Coast fighter Johnson last year became Australia\u2019s first undisputed champion in the four-belt era<\/a>.<\/p>\n
