The OEM stands at the top with a 20.6% market share, while Apple and other Chinese brands are following it.

RBObservation on Weibo recently shared the ranking of the top six brands in China’s smartphone market in H1 2026, where Huawei is leading as it holds the highest market share among its competitors – 20.6%.

Huawei has maintained a strong price strategy in the first half of this year. An overview shows that it launched the Pura 90 flagship and other products without increasing the cost tag. This move caught attention amid rising memory costs.

On the flip side, devices like Enjoy 90 Pro Max and the Mate 80 series have benefited Huawei the most. Both handsets are selling extremely well, holding the top spots.

Other rankers:

Apple ranked second with a 17.5% market share. Just like Huawei, the iPhone maker retained the same price without any adjustments. The iPhone 17 series became a spotlight for the company with significant price slashes at the 618 shopping festival.

The third rank goes to OPPO with a market share of 16.2%, including 2.9% of OnePlus’ share and 1.0% of realme. Vivo appears at the fourth position with 15.6% of the market share, while its sub-brand iQOO accounts for 4.3% of the market share.

Following the report, a netizen mentioned that among many sub-brands, the iQOO phones were indeed good this year, as it has sold sufficient units in the market.

Xiaomi gets the fifth rank with a market share of 14.3%. Honor achieves the sixth place with an 11.8% share in the Chinese smartphone sales competition for H1 2026.

Memory prices continue to increase, and it would be worth seeing if the sales market ranking remains the same or gets disturbed in the second half of this year.

The rise in memory chips has affected every other smartphone maker, though Huawei continued to lead the sales…

[16
64,63,203,105
post-830518","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mobile","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-mobile","tag-technology
["GET
