Arsenal will have to turn to other transfer targets after it was reported by Sky Sports<\/a> that Real Madrid do not want to sell Vinicius Jr this summer. <\/p>\n

Real Madrid are reportedly confident that the Brazil winger, who emerged as a shock target for the Gunners as they aim to strengthen their attack, will agree a new contract after entering the final year of his deal. <\/p>\n

AS<\/a> also reported that Vinicius, who is out of contract in 2027, will resume talks on a new deal once he returns from his summer holiday.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid\u2019s agreement to sign RB Leipzig\u2019s Yan Diomande also added to the speculation – but the club want Vinicius to extend his deal, too.<\/p>\n

Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola has agreed to join Liverpool, according to a report in the French sports daily L\u2019Equipe<\/a>. <\/p>\n

It is undoubtedly a boost to Liverpool ahead of potentially facing competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal for the France international, but a deal remains some way off. <\/p>\n

That\u2019s because PSG have set a price tag of \u00a3140m on the 23-year-old, and do not want to sell – especially as Real Madrid look likely to sign RB Leipzig\u2019s Yan Diomande. <\/p>\n

As previously reported, PSG are using the Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson deals as a benchmark, while Barcola remains under contract with the European champions. <\/p>\n

When asked about his targets this summer, Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola said a wide player was top of his list.<\/p>\n

The Independent first reported on Arsenal\u2019s interest in Julian Alvarez in April and a three-way battle between the Gunners, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona was expected this summer. Barcelona\u2019s approach for Alvarez angered Atletico and they have reportedly set their LaLiga rivals a deadline of July 31 to accept their offer, which will need to be around \u20ac150m.<\/p>\n

Having missed out on Morgan Rogers, Arsenal would arguably have more resources available should Barcelona fail to land their priority target and Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is prepared to take a patient approach for the former Manchester City forward and Argentina international. Alvarez\u2019s preference would be Barcelona, and it would take a record bid from Arsenal to get the deal over the line.<\/p>\n
