Michael Jackson\u2019s<\/a> biopic, the simply-titled Michael, has left theaters in most places around the world, but not before making history. The project became the highest-grossing musical biopic of all time, bringing in more than $1 billion<\/a> around the planet.<\/p>\n Jackson\u2019s music continues to succeed in incredible fashion months after Michael arrived in theaters. This week, one of the late King of Pop\u2019s most celebrated albums reaches a special milestone on the most competitive ranking for full-lengths and EPs in the United Kingdom \u2014 one that Jackson has previously hit with several of his most popular collections.<\/p>\n Michael Jackson\u2019s Bad Reaches 200 Weeks<\/p>\n Bad<\/a> rises from No. 25 to No. 22 on the Official Albums chart<\/a> as it celebrates its two-hundredth week on the tally. The ranking is built each week to show the most-consumed projects in the U.K., utilizing both sales and streaming activity.<\/p>\n Michael Jackson Has Five 200-Week Albums<\/p>\n Bad becomes Jackson\u2019s fifth project to accumulate at least 200 weeks on the Official Albums chart. It trails Number Ones, Thriller, The Essential and Off the Wall, which have racked up 589, 279, 268 and 235 frames, respectively.<\/p>\n Only one additional Jackson set has managed a triple-digit stay on the main albums roster. Dangerous has thus far 107 weeks on the tally.<\/p>\n Michael Jackson Sends Bad Back to One U.K. Chart<\/p>\n Bad is one of six Jackson albums that appear on the U.K. charts this week, and it is the only one among them to return to a ranking. The set reenters the Official Album Downloads chart at No. 96. As it reappears, Bad hits a milestone 30 weeks on the list of the bestselling digital full-lengths in the country. The album previously climbed as high as No. 5.<\/p>\n Michael Jackson Climbs on the Streaming Chart<\/p>\n In addition to its placement on both the Official Albums and Official Album Downloads charts, Bad finds space on another four rankings this frame. The bestseller and top performer returns to the top 20 on the Official Albums Streaming chart as it improves from No. 21 to No. 19.<\/p>\n The collection declines on the remaining three lists where it can be found this time around. It slips to Nos. 38, 45 and 47 on the Official Vinyl Albums, Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales charts, respectively.<\/p>\n Michael Jackson Claims Three Top 40 Albums<\/p>\n Bad is one of a trio of Jackson titles that make space on the Official Albums chart this week. Only Gracie Abrams blocks Jackson from another week at No. 1, as her album Daughter from Hell debuts in first place and gives her a second leader on the ranking.<\/p>\n Thriller also approaches the top 10. The landmark album pushes from No. 16 to No. 13, while Bad follows at No. 22.<\/p>\n All three projects have previously spent time at No. 1. Throughout his career \u2014 and even after his death \u2014 Jackson has accumulated a milestone 10 champions on the Official Albums chart. Every one of those releases is present on more than one ranking. The Essential and Off the Wall land on the fewest tallies, occupying just two rosters apiece.<\/p>\n Number Ones can be found on three purchase-focused rosters, while Michael \u2013 Songs from the Motion Picture also lives on three lists, including the Official Soundtrack Albums chart, where it sits near the top, landing at No. 3.<\/p>\n Bad ties Thriller for the most widespread showing in the U.K. among Jackson\u2019s current successes. Both blockbuster studio albums find a home on half a dozen different rosters at once.<\/p>\n
