Boxer Nico Ali Walsh said he was invited by Zuffa Boxing<\/a> and TKO Group Holdings to discuss the Muhammad Ali American Boxing Revival Act<\/a> and came away believing the sides were \u201ctrying to come to an agreement.\u201d Walsh, the grandson of late boxer Muhammad Ali, appeared on \u201cThe Ariel Helwani Show,\u201d and said Zuffa and TKO \u201cknow that the Revival Act is not going to pass as it stands.\u201d Walsh, who opposes the Revival Act<\/a>, noted in the meeting it felt like TKO board member Nick Khan \u201cwanted to make changes.\u201d On changes proposed during the meeting, Walsh said financial transparency \u201cis absolutely essential.\u201d Walsh: \u201cThat\u2019s [Universal Boxing Organization] disclosures, that\u2019s fighter pay. You\u2019ve got to be able to show what money is being made. So financial transparency, free agency, length of contracts, rankings transparency. Those four are really the main ones that we really stuck to in the meeting, because if they listen to those four, we\u2019ll be in a way better position. And fighters will be able to keep a lot of the rights that they have under the current Ali Act.\u201d Walsh said Khan was open to all of the changes.
