Pound-for-pound superstar Terence Crawford<\/a> retired from the sport last December, but that has not stopped \u2018Bud\u2019 from getting involved in back-and-forth\u2019s with active fighters.<\/p>\n

Now, the Omaha-born sensation has warned one of his newfound rivals that he may be on the verge of being knocked out.<\/p>\n

Crawford announced his decision to hang up the gloves last year, but the 38-year-old has continued to be linked to a number of lucrative opportunities, including a rematch with Canelo Alvarez<\/a> and a showdown with newly-crowned two-division unified world champion, Jaron \u2018Boots\u2019 Ennis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, whilst Crawford seems set to avoid the temptation of a return, the veteran appears to have birthed a new rivalry with Ryan Garcia<\/a>, who has declared his intentions of facing Crawford<\/a>, providing he can first successfully defend his WBC welterweight world title against Conor Benn<\/a> in six weeks\u2019 time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Monday, in a left-field promotion of that fight, Garcia appeared on WWE\u2019s Monday Night Raw and aligned himself with \u2018Judgement Day\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In response, Crawford took to social media<\/a> to remind Garcia that he should keep his mind on the fight, advising him to stick to training or risked getting knocked out by the British challenger.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan Garcia, you might get knocked out \u2013 you better be training and taking this fight serious.\u201d<\/p>\n

Garcia-Benn takes place on Saturday, September 12, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
