Google will unveil the Pixel 11 series smartphones on August 12<\/a>, and the company is expected to introduce the Pixel Watch 5 alongside them. We haven’t heard anything about the Pixel Watch 5 from Google yet, but the smartwatch has popped up in an official Google app, which should serve as another indicator that Google will unveil it on August 12.<\/p>\n

The Pixel Watch 5 has appeared in the Google Health app as one of the wearables a user can connect the device to. It’s right at the top of the list, and selecting it opens a dedicated setup page, followed by a screen that asks whether users want to connect the Watch 5 to Google Health.<\/p>\n

The screenshots of the Google Health app below don’t reveal anything new, as even the placeholder image Google has used for the Pixel Watch 5 is the same as that for the Pixel Watch 4<\/a>. Now we aren’t saying the two smartwatches look entirely different, as the Pixel Watch 5’s leaked renders<\/a> revealed it looks almost identical to the Pixel Watch 4.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, a Google Play Console listing revealed that the Pixel Watch 5, codenamed “godric,” uses the same base chip as the Pixel Watch 2<\/a>, 3<\/a>, and 4 but has more RAM onboard<\/a> (3GB vs. 2GB).<\/p>\n

The Google Pixel Watch 5’s 41mm Wi-Fi model is rumored to cost<\/a> \u20ac419, while the LTE model is rumored to cost \u20ac519. The 45mm Wi-Fi and LTE versions are said to cost \u20ac449 and \u20ac549, respectively.<\/p>\n
