While K.C. is surging at the right time (riding a five-game win streak), they\u2019re going to need Bobby Witt Jr. to continue being Bobby Witt Jr. to crash the postseason party.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>While Witt\u2019s numbers are down compared to last season, he hit his 100th home run of his career to continue his eight-game winning streak, becoming the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardbarker.com\/mlb\/articles\/royals_bobby_witt_jr_joins_barry_bonds_on_exclusive_4_player_list_with_100th_homer\/s1_16835_42613012\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">youngest Royal<\/a>\u00a0ever to reach the milestone. He\u2019s also became just the fourth player in MLB history with 100+ home runs and 100+ steals in his first four seasons (Darryl Strawberry, Barry Bonds, Julio Rodriguez).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Which brings us to today\u2019s quiz. Witt finished second in American League MVP voting behind Aaron Judge in 2024, slashing .332\/.389\/.588 to win the Batting Title while mashing 32 home runs and driving in 109 runs.
