A Serie A club have set their sights on two Tottenham players, who have been deemed surplus to requirements by Thomas Frank, but neither of them is the Italian side’s top target.

Most Spurs fans are more preoccupied with which players the club can sign in the final week and a half of the transfer window, but the Lilywhites would also need to offload several players.

Among those are Manor Solomon and Bryan Gil, who do not appear to have a future at the North London club.

It has been reported over recent days that Bologna have set their sights on Gil and have evaluated the Tottenham man’s injury, and an interesting update has now emerged about the Serie A club’s transfer plans.

Gianluca Di Marzio has now claimed that Solomon is also on Bologna’s radar, as well as Gil, as the Italian side try to secure a left-winger before the window slams shut.

The Serie A club have studied both players and have added them to their list of targets, but neither player is their top preference.

Bolonga’s number one target for the role is Marseille’s Jonathan Rowe, and they are now waiting to hear from the 22-year-old before deciding whether or not to pursue one of the Spurs pair.

No shortage of interest in Manor Solomon

According to reports, several La Liga and Premier League sides have expressed an interest in signing Solomon.

However, a permanent move to Leeds is in doubt for Solomon as Daniel Farke’s side are reportedly prioritising a move for AC Milan forward Noah Okafor.

When asked about the winger’s future, the Tottenham head coach decided to keep his cards close to his chest, with Frank insisting that Solomon could be involved when he returns from his injury.
