Besiktas Istanbul has signed guard David DeJulius following his impressive season with UCAM Murcia in Spain. The former EuroLeague player, who averaged 17.7 points in the Liga ACB, brings significant scoring and playmaking experience to the Turkish club after previous stints in Germany, Greece, and Israel.<\/p>\n

DeJulius arrives to the EuroLeague newcomers after a solid season in the Liga ACB with UCAM Murcia. He averaged 17.7 points, 4.4 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 16.6 PIR in 25 minutes of play across 36 appearances.<\/p>\n

The elite guard propelled Murcia to a 4th place regular season finish in the extremely competitive Spanish League.<\/p>\n

DeJulius combines scoring confidence with real playmaking responsibility. He can create out of the pick-and-roll, score from all three levels, and take over possessions when his team needs a late-clock option.<\/p>\n

DeJulius’ previous career stops <\/p>\n

In 2024, DeJulius had signed a deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv, but after a few unsuccessful months he was loaned to Bursaspor in Turkey, thus ending his short EuroLeague career.<\/p>\n

He also had stints with teams in Germany and Greece earlier.<\/p>\n

Before coming to Europe, DeJulius built his career in the United States, initially playing college basketball at the University of Michigan under coaches John Beilein and Juwan Howard before transferring to the University of Cincinnati.<\/p>\n

In his last season with the Bearcats, he averaged 14.8 points, 5.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.<\/p>\n
