Living on a golf course can lead to all kinds of perks. But as one homeowner recently found out, it can have its downsides, too.<\/p>\n

Every golfer knows that it\u2019s common to lose golf balls<\/a>, but by thwacking their ball on TikTok user Jenna\u2019s (@jennaczmowski) windshield, this golfer may well take the cake for the unluckiest golf shot of all time<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The video, which has garnered 154,100 views, begins with Jenna announcing that she has a PSA.<\/p>\n

She explains that she lives in Eastern Washington before launching into her complaint.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you were golfing yesterday, and you lost a golf ball sometime between 1:30 and 2:45 specifically, and you were using a TaylorMade \u2026 TP5X, just know your golf ball broke my windshield. I\u2019ve lived here for five years, and that\u2019s a first. It\u2019s probably the worst shot I\u2019ve ever seen of all time.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then went on to show viewers the damage, which included a significant circular smash on the far left of the windshield.<\/p>\n

Most commenters weren\u2019t very sympathetic.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy you being rude?\u201d a second asked. \u201cThis is the price you pay for living on a course. All golfers have bad shots once in awhile.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Are The Pros And Cons Of Living On A Golf Course?<\/p>\n

On Reddit<\/a>, one user asked the internet about the pros and cons of living on a golf course\u2014and the Redditors gave him plenty to work with.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou should see if you get a complimentary membership to the course if you live on it,\u201d one suggested. \u201cThat\u2019s a pretty significant value around here- lots of subdivisions will get lifetime memberships to the course. From a cons perspective, it will run the gauntlet from people disregarding OB posts and walking into your yard to get a ball, to drunk insurance salesmen catcalling your wife.\u201d<\/p>\n

A second added, \u201cOur home wasn\u2019t on the course but in the development. It included a social membership so no initiation fee and reasonable monthly dues. We could use everything except the 18 hole course so we could use the top tier practice facility and par 3 course. My son was 13 at the time and just getting into golf and loved it.\u201d<\/p>\n

While a third complained, \u201cGolfers, who don\u2019t even always live in the community, act like they own it, You see how many people drink during, before, and after golf rounds? They all get in their cars and drive through your neighborhood afterwards.\u201d<\/p>\n
