A new Far Cry 3 project aims to restore a load of cut content that was removed from the game prior to launch.<\/p>\n
Project Medusa is a fan-made initiative by Far Cry 3<\/a> modders Scar and MysteryGamerPL, who aim to include as much cut content as possible in the final release.<\/p>\n Some of the improvements that have been listed include better visuals, such as enhanced vegetation, textures, and character models (including the old Jason player model).<\/p>\n It also features improvements to audio, both the soundtrack as well as diegetic sounds which occur in-game, as well as changes to UI and scripts to further flesh out the experience.<\/p>\n That\u2019s not everything though, as Project Medusa will also add new weapons into the fray, which were removed from Far Cry 3 prior to launch but remained in the game files.<\/p>\n Altogether, while not the definitive Far Cry 3 experience, this new mod will certainly satisfy those who preferred the look of the game in its early alpha and beta stages, which notably underwent many changes over time.<\/p>\n A trailer for the project has been released, which can be seen below.<\/p>\n Far Cry 3 Project Medusa is one for fans of the franchise to experience some cut content<\/p>\n There\u2019s no release date confirmed yet for Project Medusa, but you can follow updates over on Scar\u2019s YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n Other mods for Far Cry 3 that we\u2019ve covered in the past include Far Cry 3 Reborn<\/a>, a mod which aims to \u201cenhance, rebalance, and expand the gameplay of Far Cry 3 by adding a touch of realism, immersion, and exploration into the game\u201d while staying true to the original.<\/p>\n
