So, we\u2019re happy with that,\u201d Reid told ESPN\u2019s Dan Graziano. \u201cWe know he\u2019s still progressing through it. But <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DanGrazianoESPN\/status\/2083612845221007685?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">he sure looks sharp out here<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Reid has continued to say that he\u2019s letting Kansas City\u2019s doctors and medical staff guide him when it comes to Mahomes\u2019 practice participation, if he\u2019ll play in a preseason game, and the quarterback\u2019s availability for Week 1. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs long as he\u2019s safe, that\u2019s what we\u2019re looking at. So, right now, for what we\u2019re doing, he\u2019s safe to roll,\u201d Reid said. <\/p>\n<p>Reid has not said one way or another whether or not Mahomes will play in a preseason game.
