Pauline Hanson\u2019s One Nation has reclaimed the title of Australia\u2019s most popular political party, new polling has revealed.<\/p>\n
One Nation\u2019s primary vote rose two points in the latest Redbridge poll, conducted for The Australian Financial Review, to 32 per cent while Labor\u2019s vote dropped one to 29 per cent. <\/p>\n
The poll of 1001 voters, published on Sunday, also saw the Coalition\u2019s vote jump four points to 22 and the Greens\u2019 vote share dip by an equal amount to 10 per cent.<\/p>\n
The result, which sits in the poll\u2019s reported margin of error of 3.3 per cent, means One Nation has eclipsed Labor for the second time since May. <\/p>\n
Labor retains a lead over both One Nation in a two-party preferred match-up, according to Redbridge, dipping three points to a six-point lead (53 to 47).<\/p>\n
The Coalition, however, overtook Labor in a preference contest of those polled, rising six points to a four-point lead at 52 per cent to 48 per cent.<\/p>\n
Anthony Albanese remains the country\u2019s preferred prime minister at 32 per cent, compared to Pauline Hanson at 24 and Angus Taylor at 15.<\/p>\n
This is despite the poll finding support for the Prime Minister remains largely negative.<\/p>\n
Mr Albanese\u2019s net approval rating fell one point to negative 19, while Pauline Hanson remained steady at minus 10 and Angus Taylor\u2019s grew three points to negative six. <\/p>\n
The poll shows Labor retains a slight lead on top three issues that most concern voters; cost of living, healthcare and housing affordability, while One Nation leads on immigration and crime and safety \u2013 identified by those surveyed as the fourth and fifth most salient issues.<\/p>\n
