Former radio host Kyle Sandilands has revealed how he is holding up financially following his sacking from his KIIS FM breakfast show with co-host Jackie \u201cO\u201d Henderson in February.<\/p>\n
During an appearance on The Karl Stefanovic Show on Sunday, Mr Sandilands revealed he had received a surprising call from the bank.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not looking for the violin at all,\u201d he said during the interview with former Today host Karl Stefanovic.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe bank call was refreshingly surprising, they couldn\u2019t have been better. Cos I\u2019ve always thought these guys are a**holes when you\u2019re at your worst that\u2019s when they kick, stab, stab, that\u2019s what I thought, it\u2019s like a jailyard pile-on. <\/p>\n
\u201cBut they were great\u201d<\/p>\n

The former shock said his friends were very generous in their offerings of financial help. <\/p>\n
\u201cMy friends are offering bags of money, \u2018do you want a million dollars\u2019, \u2018do you want this\u2019, \u2018what do you need\u2019. I was like, \u2018thank you but no\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
A keen investor, Mr Sandilands revealed he was one year into his 10-year plan when he was sacked, and had spent $3 million renovating holiday homes. <\/p>\n
\u201c \u2026 I know I look flashing it all around and pi**ing all the money away but we\u2019ve actually got quite a good investment portfolio, property portfolio, company shares, but you can\u2019t liquidate that and I\u2019d just spent about $3 million on renovating holiday homes and some other big monster I\u2019m building out in the mountains, \u2018oh boohoo poor Kyle\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut that was part of the 10-year plan. I was one year into the 10 year plan and then due to someone\u2019s bad mood that all fell apart I\u2019d imagine. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not sure why, still don\u2019t know the real reason, won\u2019t speak to Jackie until she\u2019s finished with her court proceedings.\u201d<\/p>\n
These days, he says he almost doesn\u2019t care anymore about discovering the reason behind the sacking, and insists losing his job was not as bad as he\u2019d imagined.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople would think, \u2018he\u2019s crushed\u2019. There are people rejoicing and stamping all over the death and the ashes of both of us. But let them. They\u2019ve got very little joy in their heart, those trolls,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
During the interview, Mr Sandilands also revealed he has received death threats.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere was death threats and letters in my office explaining, \u2018If you ever do anything on any platform, we\u2019ll kill you, we\u2019ll hunt you down\u2019,\u201d Mr Sandilands said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know these people are lunatics but what if just one of those lunatics has a weapon?\u201d<\/p>\n
