His takedown defense has been excellent, and we\u2019ll see if he can stay on his feet. Obviously, if he can stay off the ground, he poses a serious threat to Islam.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cIan truly has a very good chance of beating Makhachev,\u201d former UFC lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/ufc\/500406\/charles-oliveira-ian-machado-garry-has-a-very-good-chance-of-beating-islam-makhachev-at-ufc-330\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MMA Fighting<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m not saying that because he\u2019s my friend or because he\u2019s part of our team, but because of what we\u2019ve seen and how he\u2019s been training.
