With the 2025\u201326 season having finished in the Northern Hemisphere we thought we would take a brief look at the Australian players who were competing overseas. Today features Australians in the United Kingdom. The information is collected from\u00a0Elite Prospects<\/a>\u00a0and so might not be fully comprehensive.<\/p>\n Cyrus Chen<\/a> (BUIHA profile<\/a>): First season in England. Playing for the Imperial Devils in the British Universities Ice Hockey Association, Chen competed in four Checking 1 South Division games, one game in the Varsity Tournament, and four in the Checking Tier 2 Nationals where he recorded two assists.<\/p>\n Esm\u00e9 Gibson<\/a> (WNIHL U16 profile<\/a>): First season with the Leeds Knights after spending the last two season with the Kingston Diamonds. Playing in the Women\u2019s National Ice Hockey League U16\u2019s North Division, Gibson recorded 14 goals and four assists from 15 games. She also took part in the England Ice Hockey Showcase U13 tournament, representing Team Phillips U13.<\/p>\n Tamara Ham<\/a> (WNIHL profile<\/a>): First season with the Nottingham Vipers B after spending 2024\u201325 with Coventry Phoenix. Playing in the Women\u2019s National Ice Hockey League 2\u2019s North Elizabeth Division, Ham competed in eleven games and recorded one assist.<\/p>\n Saloni Pradhan<\/a> (BUIHA profile<\/a>): First season in England. Playing for the Leeds Gryphons D in the British Universities Ice Hockey Association, Pradhan competed in three Challenge Tournament games, and five games in the Non-Checking Tier 4 Nationals. She also made two appearances for the Leeds Gryphons Women in the Women\u2019s North Division.<\/p>\n Jake Riley<\/a> (NIHL profile<\/a>): First season in England. Playing for Solihull Barons in the National Ice Hockey League\u2019s Division 1 North, Riley recorded 15 goals and 21 assists from 30 games. He also made two appearances for Solihull in the National Ice Hockey League\u2019s Division 1 North Cup.<\/p>\n Joe Smith<\/a> (BUIHA profile<\/a>): Fourth season in the British Universities Ice Hockey Association. Playing for the Oxford Vikings B, Smith competed in four Non-Checking 1 South Division games, recording one goal, and six games in the Non-Checking Tier 1 Nationals, recording one goal.<\/p>\n Steven Wan<\/a> (BUIHA profile<\/a>): First season in England. Playing for the UCL Yetis in the British Universities Ice Hockey Association, Wan competed in three Checking 2 South Division games and one in the Varsity Tournament.
