<\/p>\n\tDemonstrating the ultimate antidote to slow play,\u00a0British Speedgolf\u2019s reigning champion, James Hardy, has just completed back-to-back victories at the recent 2026 French Speedgolf Open and the US Speedgolf Open Championships in staggering time.<\/p>\n
\tAt Temecula Creek Golf Club, California, Hardy excelled to record three birdies and four bogeys during a final-round to produce 73 in 41:34. He covered the opening nine holes in approximately 20 minutes. He made the turn at one under par. Let that sink in.<\/p>\n
\tHardy entered the final round with a narrow advantage over fellow Brit, PGA Pro Will Robson, and delivered his best golf of the championship when it mattered most. Combined with his opening round 78 in 40:59, Hardy finished strong with a final-round 73 in 41:34.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tRobson remained even par through 14 holes before dipping his performance over the closing\u00a0 stretch. He followed an opening-round 79 in 40:56 with a final-round 76 in 44:02, producing a runner-up total of 239:58. Incredible performances.<\/p>\n

\tIn Speedgolf, each round\u2019s golf score is combined with the number of minutes and seconds required to complete the course. A round of 73 completed in 41 minutes, 34 seconds produces a Speedgolf score of 114:34.<\/p>\n
\tCompeting in the Masters 40+ Division, another British Speedgolfer, Chris Parry, opened with a 78 in 49:49 and closed with an 81 in 48:46. In doing so, he recorded the lowest championship total among all competitors in the men\u2019s amateur and age-group divisions, over 70 players in the championship field.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tThe course layout delivered a 6,470-yard, par-72 course covering 4.9 miles of total running distance.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAt the French Speedgolf Open at Golf International de Roissy, Paris, on July 3- 4, Hardy posted 74 in just under 46 minutes in Round 1, followed by 76 in 46 mins 30 secs in Round 2, delivering both precision and consistency.<\/p>\n
