Actor and TV personality Mario Lopez has copped widespread backlash after posting a \u201ccreepy\u201d AI-generated video of his teenage niece eating hot dogs at a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game.<\/p>\n

The Saved By The Bell star\u2019s family outing with niece Kalia Wong, 19, sparked controversy on social media after he shared an AI clip of Kalia sitting beside him at Dodger Stadium, struggling to eat two loaded hot dogs<\/a> at the game on Sunday.<\/p>\n

As fake Kalia takes a massive bite at her food, the toppings spilled onto her Dodgers jersey with the mustard and relish then splattering all over her face.<\/p>\n

\"Mario<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t take her anywhere,\u201d an AI version of Lopez could be heard saying in the clip. \u201cOh my God, look at you! You\u2019re a mess \u2013 the mustard!\u201d<\/p>\n

The computer-generated Kalia then leaned into the chaos and exclaimed, \u201cAh, so good!\u201d as the camera zoomed in and she proceeded to rub the spillage on her face.<\/p>\n

The clip was flagged by X with a disclaimer for users, stating at the bottom of the video that it was \u201cMade with Grok Image\u201d \u2013 the platform\u2019s AI image and video generator.<\/p>\n

Lopez, 52, also shared the clip to his Instagram Story with the caption, \u201cMy niece is out of control!\u201d<\/p>\n

However, as his video quickly went viral, the Access Hollywood host was slammed online by many who thought the clip was sexually suggestive and inappropriate.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat did I just watch,\u201d one tweeted on X, as another wrote, \u201cThis video is beyond creepy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe layers to this are mind boggling \u2026 sexualising your own niece \u2026 in a clearly terrible AI slop video \u2026 with no other context \u2026 f***ing unhinged,\u201d one user commented, as yet another tweeted, \u201cFeels like the kind of sh*t you send in a family group chat, not post online for the world to see. So weird.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yet another wondered, \u201cImagine you think you\u2019re having a nice outing with your uncle, only to see he created a weird ahh ai video of you.\u201d<\/p>\n

One user tweeted what we were all thinking: \u201cJesus Christ, what did he write in the prompt?\u201d<\/p>\n

Even fellow media personalities weighed in on Lopez\u2019s video. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat the f**k, Mario?\u201d tweeted Dan Katz, who co-hosts the Barstool Sports podcast, Pardon My Take. <\/p>\n

His colleague, Jeff D. Lowe, was just as confused, writing, \u201cPound for pound one of the weirdest tweets I\u2019ve ever seen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Journalist Yashar Ali reshared the video to his own feed, with the caption, \u201cUhhhh, what a creepy video for Mario Lopez to create using AI and then post \u2026 Especially since the subject is his niece!\u201d<\/p>\n

While Lopez has yet to respond to the backlash, he has since deleted the video and replaced it with a non-AI version<\/a> of the pair watching the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cHotter than a Dodger dog on the grill out here but the Dodgers might be even hotter. Big moves,\u201d the actor told the camera. \u201cLet\u2019s go Skubal. Big expectations and I\u2019m all in for this post-season push. Let\u2019s do it up. I\u2019m here with my niece, Kalia. Say what\u2019s up. Are you ready?\u201d<\/p>\n
