CHAPEL HILL, N.C. \u2013\u00a0The start of basketball season will be here before we know it, with season tickets for North Carolina women’s basketball and the 2026-27 campaign going on sale Wednesday. A slate of 18 home games awaits, with nine non-conference foes and nine Atlantic Coast Conference opponents set to visit Carmichael Arena.<\/p>\n
Entering year eight of the Courtney Banghart<\/a> era in Chapel Hill, Carolina is coming off of back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances for its third in the last five seasons. An experienced core returns with Nyla Brooks<\/a> coming off of earning a spot on the All-ACC Freshman Team, along with veterans in Reniya Kelly<\/a>, Ciera Toomey<\/a> and Laila Hull<\/a>.<\/p>\n Four new transfers enter the fold, including Achol Akot<\/a>, Sophie Burrows<\/a>, Chloe Clardy<\/a> and Gabby White<\/a>. Highly touted freshman Noelle Bofia<\/a> and Kate Harpring<\/a> are poised for an immediate impact as well.<\/p>\n Carolina opens its home slate on Wednesday, Nov. 11 against NC Central, its first of nine non-conference home games.<\/p>\n Single-game tickets for the 2026-27 campaign will go on sale at a later date.<\/p>\n Times and television designations for all games are to be determined, as well as dates for all ACC contests.<\/p>\n
