{"id":844917,"date":"2026-08-05T22:56:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T22:56:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/844917\/"},"modified":"2026-08-05T22:56:15","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T22:56:15","slug":"prospects-klyvo-eyes-climb-after-good-year-for-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/844917\/","title":{"rendered":"PROSPECTS: Klyvo eyes climb after \u2018good year for development\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A season of development\u00a0and milestones.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Selected by the Florida Panthers in the fourth\u00a0round (112th overall) of the 2025 NHL Draft, Mads\u00a0Kongsbak\u00a0Klyvo\u00a0got his first taste of pro hockey, international best-on-best action, and another year of growth\u00a0in\u00a02025-26.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Spending\u00a0the bulk\u00a0of his season with\u00a0Fr\u00f6lunda\u00a0HC\u2019s\u00a0U20\u00a0team,\u00a0the 19-year-old\u00a0was\u00a0nearly a\u00a0point-per-game player.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In 15 regular season games,\u00a0Klyvo\u00a0racked up 14 points (4G, 10A).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Carrying\u00a0that into the playoffs,\u00a0he\u00a0tallied\u00a08 points (5G, 3A) in 15 games.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was really fun, and I think\u00a0it was a pretty good year for my development,&#8221;\u00a0Klyvo\u00a0said of his\u00a0past\u00a0season\u00a0during the Panthers development camp this summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Getting a look\u00a0at the SHL level,\u00a0the Frederikshavn, Denmark\u00a0native\u00a0appeared in two games for\u00a0Fr\u00f6lunda\u00a0HC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fun to play pro hockey too,&#8221;\u00a0Klyvo\u00a0said\u00a0of\u00a0playing in the SHL. &#8220;That&#8217;s only going to be a bigger thing for me\u00a0going\u00a0on, so it was fun to try. I think\u00a0it will help me develop as a player because going on to play pro\u00a0hockey,\u00a0it&#8217;s\u00a0different from junior hockey, which\u00a0I&#8217;ve\u00a0played\u00a0the\u00a0latest\u00a0couple of years.
