{"id":845249,"date":"2026-08-06T05:44:14","date_gmt":"2026-08-06T05:44:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/845249\/"},"modified":"2026-08-06T05:44:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T05:44:14","slug":"gcaa-and-platform-honor-asu-mens-golf-with-presidents-special-academic-recognition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/845249\/","title":{"rendered":"GCAA and PLATFORM Honor ASU Men\u2019s Golf with President&#8217;s Special Academic Recognition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n                    &#13;<br \/>\n                        Story Links&#13;<br \/>\n                        &#13;<\/p>\n<p>                     NORMAN, Okla. \u2013 The Alabama State University men&#8217;s golf team earned academic recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), with the organization naming them a recipient of the President&#8217;s Special Recognition, as announced Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The GCAA&#8217;s President&#8217;s Special Recognition was bestowed upon 88 Division I men&#8217;s golf programs after the 2025-26 season, honoring teams for achieving a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.
