{"id":846118,"date":"2026-08-06T23:14:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-06T23:14:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/846118\/"},"modified":"2026-08-06T23:14:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T23:14:10","slug":"warren-issues-positive-update-on-limerick-boxer-reeves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/846118\/","title":{"rendered":"Warren issues positive update on Limerick boxer Reeves"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Promoter Frank Warren has provided a positive update on Lee Reeves, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rte.ie\/sport\/boxing\/2026\/0802\/1586152-limerick-fighter-reeves-hospitalised-after-dublin-defeat\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Limerick fighter who was hospitalised<\/a> after his fight on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Southpaw Reeves was taken to hospital after he lost in Dublin on Saturday to Gary Cully and his condition was later described as &#8220;critical but stable&#8221;, but Warren has revealed &#8220;progress&#8221; has been made by the 31-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My team have been in touch with Lee Reeves team and he is making progress. That is what we&#8217;re hearing and thank the Lord for that,&#8221; Warren said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With Lee it\u2019s all about time. Time hopefully can be a healer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Referencing British boxer Raven Chapman who also suffered a serious injury in Denmark last weekend, Warren added: &#8220;They\u2019ve both had traumatic experiences.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He also said of Reeves: &#8220;It is just about time.
