An underwater photographer in Alor, Indonesia, has shared mind-boggling drone footage of a group of pygmy\u00a0blue whales\u00a0(Balaenoptera musculus brevicauda) speeding through the water.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cBy far one of the coolest experiences I have had and some of my favourite drone shots of whales<\/a> I have taken,\u201d says underwater photographer\u00a0Marcus Blake<\/a>,\u00a0who shared the awe-inspiring footage on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n Drone footage shows three pygmy\u00a0blue whales cruising through the water. Credit: Videography by Marcus Blake onboard a Naga Biru Liveaboard on a snorkel venture trip. <\/p>\n Blake, co-founder of the\u00a0Naga Biru Liveaboard<\/a>, was on a\u00a0Snorkel Venture<\/a>\u00a0tour in Alor when he spotted the whales on two separate occasions. \u201cIt\u2019s truly a remarkable place,\u201d he says.\u00a0<\/p>\n Despite their name, this subspecies of blue whale<\/a> is still massive.
