The full match report will be made available <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thecricketercup.com\/news-full-archive\/old-cliftonians-win-the-cricketer-cup-in-dramatic-super-over\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Cricketer Cup is an annual tournament for independent school alumni and plays a key role in reconnecting former pupils with their schools and maintaining lifelong sporting friendships. <\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s win holds a special significance. We last lifted the trophy in 1993, having also reached the final in 1987 and 1994, when current team members Brooks&#8217; and Meadows\u2019 fathers were in the winning team. <\/p>\n<p>Mr Jim Williams, Cricket Professional at Clifton College, said: \u201cYesterday\u2019s game was a wonderful match with lots of high-quality cricket played by our young OC team.
