<\/p>\nAussie heavyweight sensation Teremoana Teremoana and American knockout merchant DeAndre Savage have both made weight for their Gold Coast blockbuster, clearing the final hurdle ahead of Wednesday night\u2019s main event.<\/p>\n
After a week of verbal jabs, there was no drama when the two massive men stepped onto the scales on Tuesday ahead of their showdown at The Star Gold Coast.<\/p>\n
Teremoana tipped the scales at 121.17kg, while Savage came in considerably heavier at 134.55kg, before the pair went face-to-face one final time ahead of a fight that looks unlikely to require the judges.<\/p>\n

Between them, the two big boppers boast 22 professional victories \u2013 and all 22 have come via knockout.<\/p>\n

Join now and get your first month for just $1.<\/a><\/p>\n The only small drama of Tuesday\u2019s weigh-in came further down the card, where rising Australian prospect Jazzy Parr initially missed weight on her first trip to the scales, coming in at 50.88kg \u2013 just 80 grams over the 50.8kg limit.<\/p>\n Parr, the daughter of Aussie combat sports legend John Wayne Parr, even offered to remove her top in a bid to shed the extra weight before she was eventually cleared to fight.<\/p>\n Parr will face fellow Aussie Jemma Peart \u2013 who is also a good friend outside the ring \u2013 after Peart comfortably made weight at 50.67kg.<\/p>\n Jordan Towns also came in heavy at 78.08kg for his fight with Omar El-Abdallah, above the agreed catchweight of 77.5kg.<\/p>\n For Teremoana, Wednesday night represents another big step in his rise through the heavyweight ranks. <\/p>\n The Aussie looked relaxed and confident following his final face-off with Savage, even cracking a joke when asked by Main Events\u2019 Ben Damon what fans could expect to see on Wednesday night. <\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re going to see two heavyweights fighting each other in the main event,\u201d he grinned.<\/p>\n \u201cSomebody is going to get put down.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked what he saw from Savage, the big man was unfazed.<\/p>\n \u201cI just saw another opponent standing in front of me,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n \u201cWe train six days a week, twice a day to prepare for this \u2013 and I\u2019m going to put all the training to work, come tomorrow night.\u201d<\/p>\n
