\n\tRosario Dawson<\/a> has revealed that she filmed a cameo in \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a>,\u201d but it \u201cgot cut out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Dawson plays Claire Temple, a nurse who treats injured superheroes. She first appeared in the debut season of \u201cDaredevil\u201d in 2015, and has reprised the role in MCU<\/a> series including \u201cJessica Jones,\u201d \u201cLuke Cage,\u201d \u201cIron Fist\u201d and \u201cThe Defenders.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a \u201cDaredevil\u201d fan Q&A<\/a> alongside Vincent D\u2019Onofrio at GalaxyCon in Raleigh, North Carolina, Dawson was asked which superhero she most wanted to work with and let slip that Claire was actually meant to return once again in the box office hit \u201cBrand New Day.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWell, I\u2019m going to have to say \u2014 I could have said Spider-Man,\u201d Dawson said. \u201cI even shot a scene in the new \u2018Spider-Man\u2019 movie, but I got cut out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn response to groans from the crowd, Dawson added: \u201cI know. I told my mom, and she was like, \u2018That sucks. Now I can\u2019t post the pictures.\u2019 And I was like, \u2018Right mom, me being cut out of the movie that has the largest viewership of a trailer ever, the issue is you can\u2019t post the BTS photos.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDawson went on to explain how much Spider-Man means to her, saying that her uncle is a comic book artist and that was the first character he learned how to draw. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s a frame in one of the new comics that has a young Spider-Man talking to Daredevil, and they made it so that the young Spider-Man goes to PS19 in the Lower East Side, which is where I went to elementary school,\u201d Dawson continued. \u201cSo when I tell you my post was already ready with my BTS, with my grandson wearing all his Spider-Man stuff \u2026 Then I got the email that was like, \u2018Yeah, nah.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEven though Dawson called herself \u201ca reject of Spider-Man,\u201d she hopes that one day her character might still cross paths with the web-slinging hero.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBecause everybody\u2019s in it, it still means that my character is somewhere in that same universe, and I really love that,\u201d she said. \u201cSo, I hope I get to be Claire again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe fourth \u201cSpider-Man\u201d film led by Tom Holland<\/a>, \u201cBrand New Day\u201d has absolutely smashed the box office, becoming the highest-grossing film of the year so far with over $1.6 billion worldwide.
