A coveted Cooper Flagg rookie card was found in his home region of New England.<\/p>\n
Members of RhodyBreakers, a group within the Baseball Cards of Rhode Island card shop, unpacked the prized rookie card of the Maine native Monday night during a live stream.<\/p>\n
The card has drawn attention across the world of sports collectibles. It features a patch from the jersey Flagg wore during the first half of his NBA debut with the Dallas Mavericks, as well as his signature after he autographed the card at Fanatics Fest last month.<\/p>\n
A similar, one-of-a-kind rookie card for Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes fetched $1.11 million last year, and Flagg\u2019s card is expected to exceed that value after he was named the NBA\u2019s Rookie of the Year for 2025-26.<\/p>\n
The Mavericks have made a push to acquire the card. The team offered a \u201c1 of 1 for 32\u201d package that includes the following:<\/p>\n
Two lower level season tickets for 32 years.A signed Flagg game-worn jersey.A postgame photo with Flagg.A private photoshoot with the NBA Rookie of the Year Trophy and the Larry O\u2019Brien Trophy.A VIP tour of the Mavericks\u2019 practice facility and American Airlines Center with a team meet-and-greet.A \u201cprivate basketball experience\u201d for up to 10 guests at American Airlines Center.A VIP experience at the Mavericks\u2019 road game in Boston, including airfare, hotel and game tickets for the Mavericks-Celtics game.<\/p>\n
