Sergio Perez has outlined what he feels was the \u201cbiggest challenge\u201d upon his return to a full-time F1 drive.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
Perez departed the grid at the end of the 2024 campaign following a challenging campaign with Red Bull.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
However, as Cadillac assessed the market for its driver line-up ahead of its debut season in 2026, Perez became a legitimate option due to his vast experience.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
The Mexican was signed alongside fellow veteran Valtteri Bottas to lead the development of the car based on their feedback.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
However, Perez asserted that the biggest hurdle was adjusting to the hectic timetable F1 drivers are forced to navigate.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cThe biggest challenge was getting back to the rhythm of the schedule of an F1 driver, to be honest,\u201d Perez told media including RacingNews365.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cInitially, like I was doing a test and then getting a message that I had to be in two days, in a different country, and then two days later in another country.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cLike getting up to [speed with] that, you tend to forget how the life of an F1 driver is, how busy and how scheduled everything is, you live through a schedule.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cThat to me was like the hardest thing to get up to [speed].\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cBut then, within two or three months, I had no choice, so I got used to it.\u201d\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
