{"id":851881,"date":"2026-08-11T22:04:19","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T22:04:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/851881\/"},"modified":"2026-08-11T22:04:19","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T22:04:19","slug":"perth-the-biggest-success-in-team-18s-supercars-podium-streak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/851881\/","title":{"rendered":"Perth the biggest success in Team 18&#8217;s Supercars podium streak"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A PAIR of Perth podiums is undoubtedly the most impressive element of Team 18\u2019s ongoing Supercars silverware streak.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Team 18 has now recorded at least one podium at four successive rounds, an active streak that can only be bettered by Grove Racing (five in a row).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-5-David-Reynolds\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">David Reynolds<\/a> put Team 18 on the rostrum at Symmons Plains before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1264-Anton-De Pasquale\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anton De Pasquale<\/a> won in Darwin, collected a second-place belt buckle trophy from Townsville, and nabbed a couple of thirds in Wanneroo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Charlie Schwerkolt\u2019s squad had previous runs on the board at each of Tassie, Darwin and Townsville, the same cannot be said about Perth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Never before had a Team 18 car started or finished a Perth race better than fifth.
