<\/p>\nFor the best part of two years, Moses Itauma has been hailed as the future of heavyweight boxing.<\/p>\n
The British prodigy has been fast-tracked to the top, drawing comparisons with the division\u2019s greats and prompting many to declare him the sport\u2019s next superstar.<\/p>\n
So when Teremoana Teremoana is asked whether he believes he can beat him, the six-foot-six Australian KO King simply nods.<\/p>\n

\u201cI expect to be victorious,\u201d Teremoana told Fox Sports Australia ahead of Wednesday night\u2019s stacked Matchroom card on the Gold Coast that also featured the return of controversial star Michael Zerafa.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey say he (Itauma) is fast. They say he\u2019s athletic.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo am I.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve just got another 10 kilos and another two inches in height.<\/p>\n

ULTIMATE GUIDE: Everything you need to know<\/a><\/p>\n WEIGH-INS: Star spared drastic move after weigh-in scare as Teremoana makes promise, Zerafa trumpets \u2018clean slate\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n HARRISON: Why former world champ wants another Tszyu crack as Nikita shots fired<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve got the reach on him and those types of advantages, and I\u2019ll come to fight.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s the main thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Itauma has blasted through a succession of highly rated opponents while climbing to the top of the heavyweight rankings.<\/p>\n Still only 21, the southpaw star will throw down with Croatia\u2019s Filip Hrgovic in two weeks for the vacant IBF heavyweight title.<\/p>\n Teremoana knows he still has some catching up to do.<\/p>\n The Aussie Olympian has put together an impressive record of his own, ironing out every professional opponent he\u2019s faced \u2013 most of them within three minutes.<\/p>\n On Wednesday night, he faces DeAndre Savage in his first pro headliner on the Gold Coast, looking to take another step in his rise through the heavyweight ranks.<\/p>\n And while Teremoana admits he and Itauma are currently at very different stages of their careers, he believes their paths will eventually cross.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re on two different levels at this point in time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cMy goal is just to keep on taking care of whoever\u2019s put in front of me, and then when that time comes, I expect to be victorious.\u201d<\/p>\n Teremoana Teremoana and Moses ItuamaSource: FOX SPORTS<\/p>\n Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn sees it much the same way.<\/p>\n For now, he concedes Itauma is operating in different territory to the big Aussie.<\/p>\n But further down the track?<\/p>\n Hearn believes Teremoana has everything required to beat him.<\/p>\n \u201cMoses is on a different level now,\u201d Hearn told Fox Sports Australia.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s fought at a much higher level than Teremoana.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I think those two will one day be battling it out for the belts.
