Brazil tasted victory over the USA Falcons on Wednesday. In game two of a two match series, As Yaras were 14-12 winners over the USA Falcons in an uncapped match. Played on Saturday, the earlier fixture saw the USA Falcons victorious over the Brazilians<\/a>, also in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n

A solid first-half from As Yaras proved to be enough against the USA Falcons in S\u00e3o Paulo on Wednesday. The Brazilians scored all points in the first half to take a 14-0 lead into the break and hold-on for victory in the second-half.<\/p>\n

Flanker Larissa Carvalho and hooker J\u00falia Leni went over for As Yaras\u2019 tries while fullback Lohana Valente converted both.<\/p>\n

The second-half saw As Yaras forced to defend. They proved valiant for a long time but a yellow card saw the USA Falcons fighting back late in the contest with back-to-back tries in the closing minutes. Flanker Morgan Freeman and winger Katelyn Walker scored for the Falcons.<\/p>\n

Brazil will play again on August 24. The task will be playing against South Africa, also at the Estadio Nacional in S\u00e3o Paulo. Then, in September, As Yaras will take to the field in the Women\u2019s world league, the WXV. It will begin on September 13 against hosts Hong Kong. Subsequent matches will be against the Netherlands and Spain.<\/p>\n
