\u2013 The Mid-American Conference announced the 2027 women’s basketball conference schedule Wednesday, Aug. 12.
\n\u00a0
\nThe slate begins Jan. 2 and features 18 games with the MAC tournament beginning March 10. Notably, Eastern will play the 2025-26 top-three regular season finishers in Miami, Ball State, and Massachusetts just once, while it will play 10th place Western Michigan twice, and 13th place Buffalo twice.

\nEastern begins conference play on the road with the 99th meeting between the Eagles and Western Michigan Broncos, Eastern’s most storied rivalry, Jan. 2. From there, EMU travels east for a two-game home swing against Kent State, Jan. 6, and Ohio, Jan. 9.
\n\u00a0
\nThe 98th matchup between Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan is set for Jan. 13 in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., before Eastern heads to the Empire State to face Buffalo, Jan. 16.
\n\u00a0
\nAfter UB, another two-game home swing awaits the Green and White as it’s scheduled to host Bowling Green, Jan. 20, and the Akron Zips, Jan. 23.
\n\u00a0
\nThe Eagles will round out the month of January with two road games, beginning with a tilt at Ball State, Jan. 27, followed by a contest at Toledo, Jan. 30.

\nEastern begins the month of February with a home game against Buffalo, Feb. 3, prior to traveling east for a clash with Massachusetts, Feb. 10.
\n\u00a0
\nNext, the Eagles welcome the defending MAC Tournament Champion, Miami, to the George Gervin GameAbove Center, Feb. 13, before facing Western Michigan for the 100th time in program history, Feb. 17.
\n\u00a0
\nThree of the final five regular-season games will take place on the road, first of which is a contest at Ohio, Feb. 20, followed by a battle at Bowling Green, Feb. 24. The 99th meeting between the Eagles and Chippewas will take place Feb. 27, and senior night will be held against Toledo, March 3.

\nEastern will conclude the regular season on the road at Kent State, March 6.

\nPostseason play begins with the MAC Tournament Quarterfinals March 10 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, and the championship game will take place March 13.
