According to news.com.au,<\/a> there are plans to look at moving on Gutherson, Suli, Kyle Flanagan and Lhykan King-Togia, despite the quartet under contract until the end of 2027.<\/p>\n

The Dragons have been the most active team in the NRL in recruiting players for next season, undergoing a dramatic roster facelift. <\/p>\n

Scott Drinkwater, Keaon Koloamatangi, Luke Metcalf, Kodi Nikorima, Phil Sami and Connor Watson will be new faces next season, which indicates the likes of Gutherson and Suli will be surplus to requirements.<\/p>\n

It leaves the playing career of the 31-year-old Gutherson in limbo.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the future of playmaker Daniel Atkinson has been cleared up somewhat.<\/p>\n

Playing in the halves, Atkinson hasn\u2019t had the best season in his debut campaign in the red and white after coming over from Cronulla.<\/p>\n

With the Dragons signing Metcalf and Nikorima to be the team\u2019s new halves pairing from next season, Atkinson appears to be on the outside looking in.<\/p>\n

However, according to news.com.au, the Dragons want Atkinson to stay put with the 25-year-old reassured in a meeting with club brass in Wollongong that he is in the club\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n
