The world of streaming can be an overwhelming place, so if you’re in need of some guidance as to what’s new and worth watching (or not), you’ve come to the right place.

Jack Reacher is back in action this week, as Alan Ritchson returns to play the imposing former military man in Prime Video’s Reacher season 4. When a chance encounter with a stranger on a train goes disastrously wrong, Reacher is pulled into a deadly game with ruthless enemies from the highest echelons of power.

Elsewhere, new Australian period drama My Brilliant Career arrives on Netflix on the back of strong early reviews. Philippa Northeast, Christopher Chung and Jake Dunn star in an adaptation of Miles Franklin’s seminal 1901 novel about a headstrong farm girl whose dreams of becoming a writer clash with society’s expectations of her.

If you’re a fan of sports documentaries, Netflix has just released a special one. Mourinho is an in-depth look at the hugely successful career of José Mourinho, who had spells in English football managing Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur but will be best remembered for his two trophy-laden runs at Chelsea. The three-parter features interviews with Mourinho himself, as well as a number of his former players.

And if you’re after a football coach of a slightly different pedigree, Apple TV’s award-winning comedy Ted Lasso season 4 continues weekly. Jason Sudeikis is back as the ever-optimistic Ted, who returns to Richmond to take on a new challenge: managing a second-division women’s football team. Familiar faces including Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple and Brett Goldstein bring a fresh chapter filled with warmth, humour and heart.

There’s plenty for film fans to enjoy too. Now available to stream is this year’s beautiful and heart-wrenching drama Hamnet, which saw Jessie Buckley pick up a well-deserved best actress Oscar. Directed by Nomadland’s Chloé Zhao, it tells the fictionalised story of the devastating loss suffered by Agnes (Buckley) and William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal) that inspired the playwright’s great tragedy, Hamlet.

Also streaming now is biographical drama Michael, following Michael Jackson’s rise from child star to global music icon. Directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Michael’s nephew Jaafar Jackson in the title role, the film divided opinion, with many critics praising Jaafar’s performance but finding the film overly sanitised, while fans responded far more positively.

In The Devil Wears Prada 2, Meryl Streep returns as the terrifying magazine editor and fashion tastemaker Miranda Priestly, who rehires her ex-employee (Anne Hathaway), while Stanley Tucci reprises his fan-favourite role as Nigel, Miranda’s sharp-witted and loyal fashion director. The comedy is as catty as it was in the 2006 original.

There’s no shortage of streaming options, and so to give you a bit of a hand, the team at Radio Times has collated the key new releases from Netflix and Disney Plus to Prime Video, BBC iPlayer, Apple TV and beyond, and crucially, we tell you whether or not they’re worth watching.

Whether it’s a fascinating crime documentary like Murder 101, a sports debate show such as The Rest Is Football or a critically acclaimed comedy such as Trying, there’s something here to suit everyone’s taste.

Take a look at the list below, which includes all the details about where you can watch any title – and what we think.

[29
64,63,134,427
post-855682","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-tv","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-entertainment","tag-tv
["GET
