What is currently the first sequence of corners \u2013 the Senna Chicane \u2013 has been turned into esses with gravel traps on either side.<\/p>\n
The Wakefield Road section has been shortened with the track cutting across East Terrace to create a new straight, with esses at either end.<\/p>\n

The Rundle Road section also takes on a new guise when compared to the first concept, with a tighter approach angle to the turn that connects with Dequetteville Terrace.<\/p>\n
The final sector is relatively unchanged from the first concept. However, the latest look shows where gravel traps could be placed as well as the pit complex and proposed grandstands.<\/p>\n
MotoGP organisers recently flagged that the revised layout will be made public soon.<\/p>\n
The changes will also impact the Supercars Grand Final, to be held just weeks after the new event on essentially the same layout.<\/p>\n
Adelaide officials have consulted with Supercars and its drivers and teams on ways to make minor changes between events to suit the V8 machines.<\/p>\n
