Last year, several people<\/a> \u2014 including an aesthetic doctor<\/a> \u2014 guessed that Lindsay had gotten a facelift, among other cosmetic procedures, after photos of the 39-year-old went viral<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lindsay \u2014 and her publicist \u2014 ended up addressing<\/a> the talk about her appearance during a chat with Elle<\/a> a few months back.<\/p>\n

Lindsay\u2019s publicist said, \u201cThe problem is\u2026the second she looks any different, they assume she had her face lifted at 37 or 38, that she ripped apart this or that. It\u2019s so mean.\u201d Lindsay agreed, replying, \u201cI\u2019m like, when? With what time? Where?\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview<\/a>, Lindsay opened up in detail about her extensive skincare routine. \u201cMy skin care is very specific. I\u2019m trying out some serums now that I\u2019m doing \u2014 I\u2019m testing them. Also, I\u2019m a big believer in ice-cold water on your face when you wake up. I drink lemon juice a lot; I also put tons of chia seeds in my water. Eye patches, I do every morning. I\u2019m into lasers,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

\u201cI drink this juice every morning. It\u2019s like carrot, ginger, lemon, olive oil, apple. I also drink a lot of green tea, a lot of water. I\u2019m a big pickled beets person, so I put them in almost everything,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Lindsay also noted that she has previously tried a microneedling treatment, though she found her skin to be too \u201cthin\u201d for it. She said, \u201cMy skin changed after having my son. It got really sensitive. That\u2019s what really made me change my whole routine and diet and everything. I did blood tests, and I was like, \u2018I want to know everything I\u2019m allergic to.\u2019 So I cut everything out, and that\u2019s kind of when everything started to change for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fast-forward to yesterday, and Lindsay has showcased her makeup-free skin by sharing a couple of fresh-faced selfies on Instagram. \u201cFresh face and ready for bed!\u201d she wrote alongside the pics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Immediately, people had a lot to say in the comments. Some fans begged Lindsay to \u201cdrop the skincare routine,\u201d praising her makeup-free appearance:<\/p>\n
