Najee Harris has agreed to a one-year deal with New York, according to NFL Network. <\/p>\n
Harris took a visit with the club on Monday. <\/p>\n
The No. 24 overall pick of the 2021 draft, Harris suffered a torn Achilles while playing for the Chargers last season. He appeared in just three games before his injury.<\/p>\n
Harris recorded at least 1,000 yards rushing in each of his first four seasons with the Steelers. In 2024, he tallied 1,043 yards with six touchdowns and caught 36 passes for 283 yards.<\/p>\n
On Monday, head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Harris looked good in his workout.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know, he\u2019s not back 100 percent,\u201d Harbaugh said in his press conference. \u201cHe\u2019s not in football shape yet. So, if we are able to do something, it\u2019ll be a process. But that would be a guy that has got a lot of experience. He\u2019s a decorated vet. And with those guys, generally, you just have to kind of see where they\u2019re at when you get them.\u201d<\/p>\n
