The Dolphins’ second rower Connelly Lemuleu will face time on the sidelines after the club confirmed he had suffered a low-grade hamstring injury in Round 24 against the Manly Sea Eagles<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The club has begun the rehabilitation process with the Samoan forward, with an expected recovery window of two to three weeks.<\/p>\n

Lemuleu, prior to the injury, was sent to the sin bin for a professional foul and left the game with the injury during the second half.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins<\/a> forward has had his best season to date, averaging career-highs in running metres per game and tackle efficiency.<\/p>\n

Kristian Woolf<\/a> had sympathy for his player after the game and had a lot of positive things to express about Lemuleu.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe’s been one of our best players,\u201d the Dolphins<\/a> coach said in the post-match press conference last Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ve been really happy with him and really proud of him.<\/p>\n

“I’m just a bit disappointed that he gets that disruption to his year because he’s been going so well, but he’ll be back. He’ll finish the year for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their victory against the Manly Sea Eagles<\/a> put the Dolphins<\/a> in the top four after the Cronulla Sharks<\/a> lost to the Canberra Raiders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins<\/a> host the Eels on Friday night before they play the Sydney Roosters<\/a> in Round 26 and then the Gold Coast Titans<\/a> to conclude the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
