\"'Only Content creation has increasingly become a viable career option, allowing people to build sustainable incomes without necessarily becoming mainstream celebrities. YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia recently weighed in on the financial prospects of the creator economy, arguing that it can offer greater opportunities than the film industry for a much larger number of people.Taking to X on Tuesday, Ranveer challenged the perception that Bollywood is inherently more lucrative. He wrote, \u201cPeople assume the film industry pays better than content creation. It’s usually the opposite; only maybe thirty people at the very top of Bollywood make real money, while content creation has room for thousands of people to build something sustainable, most of them without ever becoming famous the way an actor has to.\u201dHis post triggered a debate online, with several users agreeing that creators have more avenues to generate income, while others pointed out that the creator economy also has its own highly competitive hierarchy.One user responded, \u201cIt\u2019s true and with the AI getting in, it is going to get worse.\u201d Another supported Ranveer\u2019s argument, writing, \u201cThe creator economy has a much wider path to sustainable income. One user countered, \u201cSame logic applies to content creators, only top few make good money, rest struggle.\u201d Another wrote, \u201cBut not all content creators make money. After joining YouTube in 2024 and launching cooking vlogs, Farah revealed that content creation had become the most financially rewarding part of her career.During a podcast with Sania Mirza<\/a>, she was reminded that she had directed a film that crossed the Rs 300 crore mark. Farah clarified, \u201cNo, personally, I have made the most money in content creation. But if you ask me what I want to do, that would be direction. That\u2019s my thing.\u201dFarah\u2019s YouTube journey gained considerable traction, with her entertaining interactions with her cook, Dilip, becoming a major part of the appeal.
