Red Bull have confirmed that Isack Hadjar will not take part in this weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix, with Racing Bulls’ Liam Lawson stepping up to the top team as his replacement.<\/p>\n
The Frenchman has sustained a wrist injury ahead of the season-resuming event at the Circuit Zandvoort<\/a> \u2013 where team mate Max Verstappen<\/a> will compete in his home race \u2013 thereby ruling him out of the round.<\/p>\n Hadjar<\/a>, who currently sits eighth in the standings and was on a run of seven Grands Prix in the points, will be substituted out for Lawson<\/a>. The New Zealander previously had a stint at Red Bull<\/a> for two rounds at the beginning of 2025 before he was demoted to their sister team \u2013 he has become a star of the midfield there, and is ‘best of the rest’ in terms of points won.<\/p>\n His temporarily vacant seat will subsequently be filled by Yuki Tsunoda, another former Red Bull racer who lost his full-time drive at the end of last season and was reassigned to the role of test and reserve driver for both outfits.<\/p>\n In an official statement, Red Bull confirmed: “Hadjar has sustained a wrist injury during summer shutdown that will prevent him from racing at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix.<\/p>\n “We will be welcoming back Lawson who will replace him in RB22 this weekend.<\/p>\n “The Team wishes Isack a speedy recovery and thanks Liam for stepping in on short notice.”<\/p>\n
