He played 17 games in 2022, earned Pro Bowl honors for a second time and signed a five-year, $97 million extension in the 2023 offseason.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, he has played 22 games and undergone three procedures on his knee. <\/p>\n<p>Diggs, who turns 28 next month, believes he can go back to the future in Mike Macdonald\u2019s multiple, switching, attacking defense. He signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks this week. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thenewstribune.com\/sports\/nfl\/seattle-seahawks\/article316941275.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">It looks amazing<\/a>,\u201d Diggs said, via Gregg Bell of The News Tribune. \u201cYou know, they get to the quarterback. They create turnovers. They do all the right things. So, you know, I\u2019m excited to hopefully be a part of it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m looking to show I\u2019m still the best. I\u2019m looking to show that I just want to win.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Diggs tore his ACL in September 2023 and underwent an additional surgery on his knee in December 2024. In January 2025, Diggs underwent a chondral tissue and bone graft surgery on his left knee to repair persistent cartilage damage.<\/p>\n<p>Diggs, Seahawks outside linebacker DeMarcus Lawrence and Seahawks cornerback Noah Igbinoghene were teammates with the Cowboys, and Seattle\u2019s defensive coordinator Aden Durde was Dallas\u2019 defensive line coach when Diggs was there.
