He appeared in 73 games with the Padres in 2016 and eight in 2017.<\/p>\n After 2017, Bethancourt didn\u2019t return to the majors until 2022, when he played with the Oakland Athletics and Tampa Bay Rays<\/a>. He spent the 2023 season with the Rays, then appeared in games with the\u00a0Miami Marlins<\/a>\u00a0and Cubs in 2024.
