A royal expert has revealed Meghan Markle will “return to acting” when she moves to the UK with Prince Harry next month.<\/p>\n

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are relocating back to Britain<\/a> from their Montecito home in California six years after they stepped down as senior royals and moved to the US.<\/p>\n

Harry and Meghan have yet to release an official statement on their motivations for moving, but the Duke is the patron of several UK based charities and has spoken previously about his desire for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to experience life in Britain.<\/p>\n

Meghan’s incentive for wanting to make the big move has been much less clear, however a royal expert has told News24 the Duchess has been offered an acting role.<\/p>\n

“The big question around this return, we know what Harry’s doing here – he has a lot of ties to the UK and a lot of patronages and of course, Invictus Games. But what was Megan going to do when she got to the UK?” News.com.au royal correspondent Bronte Coy said on Friday.<\/p>\n

“Now we know she’s returning to acting and of course as most people would know, that’s where she started off.<\/p>\n

“She built quite an impressive Hollywood career prior to dating Harry and she only stepped back from that and that role in Suits when she became a member of the Royal Family.”<\/p>\n

Coy said the details of Meghan’s acting career resurgence has yet to be revealed, but the Duchess does have a role lined up.<\/p>\n

“There’s a role in the works – we don’t know the details of it, it’s been kept quite tightly wrapped but entertainment sources have told me that there is a role Megan’s eyeing up and it looks like we’re getting close to her signing onto,” she added.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday evening, The Sun, The Telegraph and People magazine announced Harry and Meghan’s plans to return to the UK.<\/p>\n

King Charles has not publicly reacted to the news<\/a>, but it’s believed he is thrilled by his son and daughter-in-law’s decision.<\/p>\n

Press Association reports the King \u201cwelcomes the opportunity to see more of the family\u201d.<\/p>\n

Harry and Meghan, along with their children Archie and Lilibet<\/a>, enjoyed a private meeting with Charles and Queen Camilla for the first time in over four years earlier last month.<\/p>\n

It’s understood the Duke and Duchess have enrolled their children to begin school in the UK in September.<\/p>\n

Charles was notified of Harry and Meghan’s return on Sunday while Harry’s brother Prince William and Princess Catherine were also informed about the move ahead of its release in the press.<\/p>\n
