{"id":863438,"date":"2026-08-21T17:38:16","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T17:38:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/863438\/"},"modified":"2026-08-21T17:38:16","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T17:38:16","slug":"broncos-sign-milash-boise-state-university-athletics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/863438\/","title":{"rendered":"Broncos Sign Milash &#8211; Boise State University Athletics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">BOISE, Idaho &#8211; Boise State Women&#8217;s Tennis has signed Emilia Milash for the 2027 spring season, head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/broncosports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/coaches\/beck-roghaar\/1465\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"1465\" target=\"_blank\">Beck Roghaar<\/a> announced on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Emilia is a phenomenal addition to our program and brings a wealth of international experience at the highest level to the table,&#8221; said Roghaar. &#8220;She&#8217;s a truly physical athlete with big weapons and an elite mentality towards training and competing. She&#8217;s a lefty, all-court, aggressive player with a lot of tools to hurt opponents, and she loves to compete.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Originally from Moscow, Russia, Milash is a 6&#8217;3&#8243; lefty that brings a 9.18 singles and a 9.5 doubles UTR to the Broncos. As a member of the U13 and U15 Russian National teams, Milash was a silver medalist at the Russian National Junior Championships (doubles) and Russian National Team Championships.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I chose to become a Bronco because from my very first conversations with coach Roghaar, I felt an amazing connection and a clear shared vision,&#8221; said Milash. &#8220;The university offers world-class facilities and has an incredibly strong, competitive team that instantly stood out to me among all other options. I knew right away this was the perfect environment to elevate my game.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Milash, who trains at the Elite Alexander Ostrovsky Academy in Moscow, joins the Broncos ranked 373 in the ITF Junior rankings.
