Tailor-made specialist Goway celebrated its long-time partnership with Air New Zealand yesterday with a friendly game of cricket. <\/p>\n

On Aug. 20, 2026, Goway and Air New Zealand held their 25th annual cricket match at the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club. Every year, the two travel companies come together to celebrate their partnership by participating in one of the South Pacific\u2019s favorite sports.<\/p>\n

Anthony Saba, vice president, South Pacific at Goway, is a proud Australian and one of the chief organizers of the event. He said the annual event is a \u201chighlight\u201d on the Goway calendar each year.<\/p>\n

\u201cCricket has been central to Australian and New Zealander culture for over 150 years, and it\u2019s growing in popularity across North America,\u201d said Saba. \u201cNothing speaks to Goway being No. 1 to Downunder, and its global roots, like playing an annual cricket match in Canada. It also highlights the strong partnerships that Goway has forged over the past 56 years, such as our lasting relationship with Air New Zealand.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ultimately, Air New Zealand won the match with 8.2 runs, and Goway Destination Specialist Alice Teramoto was named MVP. The match was followed by a reception with team members from both companies.<\/p>\n
