On Friday, the Washington Nationals<\/a> will open up a series with the Miami Marlins<\/a> in Florida.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the Nationals acquired Yovanny Cruz<\/a> (via the New York Yankees<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The Yankees wrote (via X) on August 2:<\/a> \u201cThe New York Yankees today announced that they have acquired infielder Luis Garc\u00eda Jr. from the Washington Nationals in exchange for right-handed pitchers Jake Bird, Yovanny Cruz, Jack Cebert and Ben Grable.\u201d<\/p>\n
