Image: Fox Sports <\/p>\n<p>The tool had been left following work inside the cabin to fix electrical issues with the #96 Supra.<\/p>\n<p>It was captured by TV cameras departing the car at Turn 2, requiring officials to retrieve it between the back-to-back practice sessions.<\/p>\n<p>The incident breached Rule D11.7.3, which states: \u201cEach car must be completely free of all hoses, tools, team members and any other equipment at any time whilst the car is moving.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BJR accepted the recommended penalty of a $500 fine.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1042169\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-08-22-at-8.42.32-am-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>The offending item was recovered.
