Tills Wants Big Names For UFC Return"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Darren Till is hoping to land back on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) roster at some point down the road and he\u2019s looking to score some big fights when he gets there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">In case you haven\u2019t been watching, Till has experienced a bit of a career resurgence since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/2023\/3\/1\/23620053\/darren-till-speaks-out-on-ufc-roster-cut-i-asked-ufc-to-remove-me\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">parting ways with UFC<\/a> back in early 2023. The former UFC welterweight title challenger left UFC on a three-fight losing skid and appeared to be on the tail end of his combat career. Fortunately for Till, he\u2019s been able to build himself back up with a 5-0 record across appearances in boxing and bareknuckle boxing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Till, 33, is currently scheduled to meet fellow UFC veteran Yoel Romero at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/bare-knuckle-boxing-results-rules-ppv\/460587\/darren-till-vs-yoel-romero-headlines-bkfc-94-sept-26-manchester\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BKFC 94<\/a> next month. It\u2019s Till\u2019s most high-profile bout since cutting ties with UFC three years ago and an important moment in his combat career. If Till is able to get past a 39-year-old Romero then he would put himself back in a position to mount a potential UFC comeback.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Once there, Till is hoping to work towards some big-time matchups at 185 pounds. This includes a showdown with rising UFC middleweight contender Bo Nickal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cWhat about a Bo Nickal fight? Yeah, 100%,\u201d said Till during a recent episode of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/results?search_query=darren+till+weighing+in\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Weighing In podcast<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cMe and him have had a back and forth as well. We could definitely headline a Fight Night if I was to come back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">If Till is able to win a couple of fights in a potential UFC return he\u2019d love the chance to fight current UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland. Until then, Till doesn\u2019t want to disrespect a ton of UFC fighters before he\u2019s actually back in the show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cI know me and Sean Strickland \u2014 the striker matchup. I know that would be a great fight. I know that deep down,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cYou\u2019ve got to think big in this life as well, haven\u2019t you? So why not?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cThere would have to be a lot of fights. I\u2019d have to make my name again and really prove myself. You can\u2019t go out there disrespecting the whole UFC roster.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cI don\u2019t see why in two years I can\u2019t be back there.
