Broncos cornerback Riley Moss left Friday night\u2019s game against the Packers with a rib injury.<\/p>\n<p>It happened early in the first quarter, in a play that ended with Moss making a fumble recovery. (The ruling on the field was overturned by replay review.) Dubbed questionable to return, Moss\u2019s night was over.<\/p>\n<p>After a visit to the sideline medical tent, Moss went to the locker room. He was reportedly \u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ZacStevens\/status\/2090973407642866081?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">in a lot of pain<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After the game, coach Sean Payton was asked how Moss is doing. Payton didn\u2019t say much: \u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/guerillasports\/status\/2091026561134735670?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Good. We\u2019ll see<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll see what \u201cwe\u2019ll see\u201d means. Teams usually don\u2019t say much about injuries before the first official injury reports in advance of the regular-season opener.<\/p>\n<p>Moss started all 19 games for the Broncos last year, his third NFL season.
